About Otsü

Otsü, meaning “stories” in the Ao Naga dialect, was born from a desire to slow down and create with intention. Rooted in Nagaland, the brand embodies a dialogue between culture, craft, and conscious design,  reimagining what fashion can mean when it carries a story.

Founded by Asenla Jamir, a NIFT Mumbai alumna and stylist, Otsü reflects a refined yet experimental design language, merging tradition with contemporary sensibility. Each piece is handmade and distinct, crafted to be worn, lived in, and remembered.

For Asenla Jamir, Otsü is more than a label; it’s a way of honoring memory and culture. Every garment begins with something once loved,  a vintage piece, a remnant of fabric, and is reimagined through the vibrant textiles and traditions of Northeast India.

While Otsü began with one-of-a-kind up-cycled pieces, we’ve now expanded into a made-to-order ready-to-wear line, created with the same thoughtfulness and individuality, but designed to be more accessible.

Each piece is available in multiple sizes and can be customized to fit you perfectly.

We understand that true sustainability also means inclusivity, that every body deserves to experience design that feels personal, comfortable, and meaningful. With this new direction, Otsü continues to honor craftsmanship and slow fashion, while opening its doors to a wider community of wearers who connect with its story.
